Our Team                Amy J. Walker  is founder and CEO of Buy it Local, LLC.  Amy  has over fifteen years experience in developing market strategies and public - private ventures in health care, community banking, economic development and technology.  Amy has served as a Chief Economic Development Director,  Vice President of Strategic Services in banking and Senior Advisor and Consultant to CEOs and elected officials.  Her expertise is in creating strategies that help local businesses and communities achieve competitive success.    Amy has an MBA and MPH from University of Louisville and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.   Other members of Buy it Local's team include skilled professionals from across the U.S. in finance, technology,  operations, economic development, marketing, and banking.  Buy it Local team members are the brightest and best at what they do.  In addition to excellence, their focus is on using their expertise to make a difference in the communities we work.        Buy it Local is a privately held company based in Tennessee with systems operations also located in California, Colorado and Massachussetts.  We are headquartered  in the Bank of America building in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
